"I've been with State Farm for over five years, and overall my experience has been good. Unfortunately, a recent issue has left me questioning whether they truly do right by long-term customers. I updated my address in 2023 when I purchased renter's insurance, yet I was recently hit with an address change adjustment because my auto policy was apparently still being rated at my old address. What frustrates me most is the lack of communication. I've called multiple times for an explanation and was repeatedly told someone would call me back. I'm still waiting. Mistakes happen, but I did my part by updating my address three years ago. If this was an oversight on State Farm's side, I don't believe customers should be surprised with a mid-policy charge years later. For the first time in over five years as a customer, I'm seriously considering whether I should stay with State Farm or start looking at other insurance companies."
