"I've been with State Farm for over five years, and overall my experience has been good. Unfortunately, a recent issue has left me questioning whether they truly do right by long-term customers.
I updated my address in 2023 when I purchased renter's insurance, yet I was recently hit with an address change adjustment because my auto policy was apparently still being rated at my old address.
What frustrates me most is the lack of communication. I've called multiple times for an explanation and was repeatedly told someone would call me back. I'm still waiting.
Mistakes happen, but I did my part by updating my address three years ago. If this was an oversight on State Farm's side, I don't believe customers should be surprised with a mid-policy charge years later.
For the first time in over five years as a customer, I'm seriously considering whether I should stay with State Farm or start looking at other insurance companies."

"I have been with Progressive for 9 years.
I have been happy that whole time.
Got curious about what competitors rates were.
Did a quote online and Micheal with Statefarm reached out to me to answer any questions and help walk me through the rest of the process.
Built a policy at a better rate with some better coverage. For my Auto+Home Insurance.
Looked yesterday, switched today. Even with 9 years of discounts and a perfect driving record Progressive was overcharging me.
Glad I looked otherwise I wouldn't have known. My rate was good when I heard everyone else's insurance rates. But not good enough"

My agent Aaron from State Farm actually took the time to walk me through what I was paying for and cut out things I didn’t need with no pressure, just straight answers. They found me better coverage at a lower rate, and the whole process was way quicker than I expected.
